Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is hiring a Production Expeditor for the Inserting department on 1st shift (6am-2pm) at Wallace Ave location. The role supports Production Supervision by expediting orders, maintaining inventory, and preparing materials for run time.

You will verify customer-specific jobs on Inserting machines and help train others. The position requires 1 year of related experience (3 years preferred), proficiency with MS Office, and knowledge of EPIC and Infoshare.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience; 3 years preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Inserter machine computer functions (open/close files, feeder setup).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Focus on detail; maintain accuracy in inventory and stocking levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders in EPIC/Infoshare for Inserting equipment.
• Expedite workflow between processes; keep machines stocked with mail supplies.
• Prepare workbook for next process; verify non-mailables and complete job batch.
• Coordinate handling of non-mailable pieces to reduce cycle time.
• Verify job files on Inserting machine computer and read feeder setup.
