Job summary

Kdc One in Ohio is seeking a Packaging Operator to operate and maintain major production line equipment (fillers, labelers, bottle sorters, and auto-packers) in a safe, compliant, and cost-conscious environment.

You will perform minor repairs, support maintenance, conduct quality inspections, update production boards, assist training, and back up the Team Lead as needed, while following SOPs and GMPs.

Qualifications

• One year operating major packaging equipment such as fillers, labelers, bottle sorters and auto-packers.
• In lieu of diploma or GED, years of experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain major packaging equipment (fillers, labelers, bottle sorters, auto-packers).
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to maximize production and identify malfunctions.
• Assist with preventive maintenance; support mechanics when needed.
• Conduct finished goods inspections to ensure quality and correct labeling/codes.
• Maintain clean and orderly production area per GMPs and FDA guidelines.
• Update production boards or scan bar codes to track downtime events.
• Assist in the training of new or existing employees.
• Back-up to the Team Lead as requested by Management.
• Complete SOPs, Work Instructions, and paperwork per company policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information and other sensitive data.
• Exhibit regular attendance and work overtime as needed.
