Job summary

The Shaw Group seeks experienced field personnel in Beaumont, TX to prepare sites for daily work and operate production equipment safely. You will adjust settings, read diagrams, and assist with lifting and installation while following strict guidelines.

A background in crane operation and basic maintenance will be valued. Applicants should have at least a high school diploma and prefer 6 months of documented field experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months documented field experience in chosen craft discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment according to guidelines and procedures.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications quickly and accurately.
• Move levers to control diesel, electric, gas or steam-powered equipment.
• Interpret signals to determine material placement and handling.
• Assist in lifting, positioning and securing materials during installation.
• Perform routine maintenance or repairs as needed.
• Inspect crane for defects and notify supervisor of issues.
• Transport materials, tools, and supplies to job sites.
• Conduct basic cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Interpret load charts if required.
• Report to supervisor and follow established guidelines.
