Job summary
The Equipment Maintenance Technician at Suncast Corporation will diagnose, install, maintain, and repair production equipment across our manufacturing lines. The role requires hands-on work in sheet metal, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, electronics, basic pipe fitting and mechanics.
You will plan maintenance procedures, estimate labor, requisition components, train helpers, and help develop preventive maintenance programs while ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical training in two or more trades (sheet metal, welding, electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics).
- Five+ years of equipment maintenance experience; independent judgment and versatility.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair production equipment.
- Plan maintenance procedures including power, hydraulics, electric, and electronic control.
- Diagnose problems and determine repairs, parts, and skills needed.
- Estimate labor for assigned repairs.
- Train helpers and supervise junior technicians.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
