Job summary

EnergySolutions is seeking a maintenance technician to assemble, disassemble and service stationary machinery and equipment for reliable operations. The role involves installing, upgrading and fabricating components per layouts and drawings, using hoists, lift trucks and hand tools.

You will read blueprints, align machines, and ensure parts meet specifications. The ideal candidate has strong teamwork and preventive maintenance skills, with 1 year of welding or related maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year welding or maintenance-related experience.
• Certified hazardous waste worker, radiation worker, and respirator medical qualification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble and maintain stationary machinery and equipment.
• Install, maintain and fabricate equipment per drawings using hoists and tools.
• Operate lathes to shape parts and read blueprints for procedures.
• Ensure quality of own work and meet customer specifications.
