Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Production Engineering Specialist to support the manufacturing process and maintain accuracy of all work instructions and ERP data for engine maintenance. The role focuses on creating and updating disassembly, assembly, inspection and repair instructions within the MRO workflow.

The candidate will review engine manuals and service bulletins, ensure compliance, and act as the primary data correction contact for Engineering and Production ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing or engineering experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or engineering experience
• Prior experience using the GE Aviation OASIS ERP system
• Experience with Aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul data

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all CFM LEAP technical configuration data in the ERP system
• Be Responsible for creation and maintenance of all disassembly, assembly, inspection and repair work instructions for the MRO processes
• Review all engine shop manual incremental changes for impact on shop instructions
• Review service bulletins and ensure all data is loaded accurately in the ERP system
• Ensure all system data complies with customer and regulatory compliance requirements
• Primary point of contact for Engineering and Production ERP system technical data errors and correction
• Generate and maintain functional process maps for both Engineering and Production processes
• Generate ideas for and assist in the execution of simplification and cost out initiatives
• Assist Quality team with corrective actions and quality report close-outs as required
• Identify best practices and implement process improvements for cycle time and cost reduction
• Ability to learn new concepts in a rapidly changing environment
