Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a Production Engineer to support Plastibeton Trench Product operations in Kennedale, TX. The role focuses on improving process efficiency, automation, andCAPEX project execution on the production floor.

Responsibilities include optimizing trench production flow, leading kaizen-style improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cost reductions and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably engineered materials or trench product production.
• Experience in process improvement, automation, lean manufacturing, and ROI analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, PLCs, CAD, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support Trench Plant operations, including batching, forming, curing, trimming, and finishing.
• Analyze production flow and equipment performance to improve throughput and consistency.
• Develop automation and controls improvements for trench manufacturing cells.
• Lead CAPEX projects and ROI justification for upgrades and layout changes.
• Collaborate across operations, maintenance, engineering, and suppliers to resolve bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives to reduce waste.
