Job summary

Meta is seeking Production Engineers in the United States (Albany area) to help build the infrastructure powering our apps. You will own back-end services, help scale systems to billions of users, and work across product and infra teams to deliver reliable, high-performance software.

You will write and review code, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with world-class engineers to push production systems to the next level.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Unix/Linux systems.
• 6+ years of coding in Java, Python, C++, PHP/Hack, Rust, or Go.
• Experience learning software, frameworks and APIs.
• Experience with Internet service architectures and capacity planning.
• Experience configuring and running infrastructure-level apps such as Kubernetes, Terraform, MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Own back-end services including fleet management and core infrastructure components.
• Write and review production-ready code and debug large-scale systems live.
• Collaborate with teams and participate in on-call rotations for incident response.
• Partner with engineers to deliver scalable, reliable services used by billions.
• Analyze and optimize code for quality, scalability, and performance.
