Job summary

Air Liquide Advanced Materials in Mount Bethel, PA is seeking a Production Engineer to optimize plant operations, apply technical skills and ensure safe, quality production in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes KPI tracking, OEE, documentation, and collaboration with Maintenance, R&D, Process Development, Engineering, Quality and HSE, with a Mon-Fri schedule and a salary range of $80k-$100k plus 6% annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Knowledge in process/production engineering; project engineering knowledge a plus.
• Preferred: chemical/food/pharmaceutical plant ops experience.
• Experience with Northwest Analytics (NWA) process analytics.
• Working knowledge of PLC and process automation control systems.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt or equivalent.
• 5S and Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Process hazard analysis training; LOPA and HAZOP.
• Root cause investigation training and methodology.
• Able to learn chemical processes quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work with Maintenance, R&D, Process Development, Engineering, Quality and HSE.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a technical resource on production capability and safety parameters of the plant.
• Assist in establishing KPIs for operations and monitor daily performance.
• Track OEE and support productivity improvements.
• Lead small improvement projects and drive behavior changes when targets are missed.
• Update documentation and provide knowledge transfer to operators.
• Promote a culture of Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time.
• Complete required trainings.
• Communicate effectively in English.
