Job summary

VantageSpecialtyChemicals’ Englewood site manufactures personal care ingredients and APIs, performing blending, encapsulation, milling, spray congealing, extrusion and downpacking.

The Production Engineer will work on the floor with operators, maintenance, and quality to monitor processes, solve root causes, and continuously improve equipment and people performance for safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years in manufacturing; at least 1 year in process/production engineering.
• Pharmaceutical/API manufacturing with cGMP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily process monitoring across blending, encapsulation, milling, spray congealing, extrusion and downpacking.
• Data collection and prioritization of improvement opportunities.
• Process optimization through trials with cross-functional teams.
• Lead downtime reduction and ensure schedule adherence and OTIF.
