Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. is seeking an Engineer I, Production to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations on-site in Holland, MI.

You will monitor production performance, troubleshoot equipment and processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, OEE, and quality while aligning with production and shipment plans. The role collaborates with Production, Quality, Equipment, and Maintenance teams and requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 0–3

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of manufacturing/production engineering experience.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing problems and support corrective actions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations per plans.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor yield, OEE, output, and quality metrics.
• Identify abnormalities and support root-cause/corrective actions.
• Review NCRs and coordinate corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Train team members on new processes and requirements.
• Communicate risks and delays to stakeholders.
• Support inventory classification and tracking of conforming/non-conforming items.
• Contribute to continuous improvement on productivity, quality, and cost.
• Assist audits and support corrective actions from findings.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain 5S standards and worksite cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
