Job summary

Takeda in Social Circle, GA seeks a Production Engineer I to provide on-shift engineering support for highly automated pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will troubleshoot during ramp-up and steady-state production and assist cross-functional teams across IG purification, fractionation, and albumin operations.

You will work with DeltaV, PLCs, Siemens SIMATIC IT MES, and other automation hardware while supporting in-process testing and safety investigations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; related engineering or technical experience preferred.
Foundational engineering knowledge and ability to troubleshoot routine problems in a GMP setting.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Provide on-shift engineering and technical support to manufacturing operations to troubleshoot issues.
Support IG purification, fractionation, albumin operations, filling and packaging processes.
Troubleshoot automated equipment (Vessels, filtration, chromatography, UF/DF, CIP/CES).
Support DCS, PLCs, MES systems and automation hardware; assist in in-process testing (pH, conductivity).
Participate in safety and quality investigations and drive continuous improvement.
