Orbia Polymer Solutions Vestolit seeks a capable operations leader to supervise drying and packaging lines, drive safety, and improve reliability and OEE. You will work with maintenance to reduce downtime and guide project-based improvements across the plant.

The role requires a chemical/mechanical engineering background and 5+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, aligning with our standards for safety and efficiency in a global PVC operations setting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience (chemical plant preferred).
• 5+ years supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing (chemical plant preferred).
• Ability to work with maintenance to reduce corrective maintenance using reliability-driven tools.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day leadership to operations personnel to ensure safety, productivity, and reliability of drying and packaging operations.
• Develop and coordinate initiatives to improve safety performance, increase OEE, and improve dryer operations.
• Support engineers with technical evaluations, SOP development, and product quality improvements.
• Lead small projects to improve drying and packaging processes and develop CAPEX plans.
• Serve as project manager/plant liaison for process improvement projects.
• Coordinate with logistics, manufacturing, and tech service to address customer complaints.
• Participate in safety, health, and environmental continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement safe operating procedures that meet production cost and quality targets.
