Job summary

Jensen Castings, LLC in Richland Center, Wisconsin, is seeking a Production Engineer to oversee day-to-day factory operations and drive continuous improvement. You will be the subject-matter expert on shop floor machines and processes, while backing up the Plant Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Operate and understand shop floor programs (Global Shop, SolidWorks, PDM).
• Maintain routers, work orders, and prints.
• Develop and maintain work instructions and SOPs.
• Assist with ECR/ECN process and communicate progress.
• Estimate and quote projects, analyze costs and timelines.
• Support CAP projects and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality Control on non-conformances.
• Assist with lean manufacturing and 5S.
• Train assembly teams and bridge engineering.
• Support new product introductions.
