Job summary

Allegion in Everett, WA is seeking a Production Engineer to design and draft window and door frame products using AutoCAD and Inventor, modeling and validating fit with AD Systems components. The role includes generating vendor and fabrication drawings and supporting in-house validation tests.

The position requires an engineering degree, 2+ years of engineering experience, and proficiency in Excel; VBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and AutoCAD/Inventor or similar 3D modeling program experience essential.
• 2+ years engineering experience in mechanical construction/architectural environment or door/window industry.
• Hands-on experience producing rapid prototypes for proof of concept.
• Proficient in MS Excel for complex spreadsheets; VBA experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create multilayered 2D and 3D drawings in AutoCAD detailing window and door frame products.
• Create models and run FEA on framing systems.
• Deliver on-time drawings to project management with high accuracy.
• Provide drawings for customer review, vendor submittals, and final fabrication in-house.
• Maintain organized data including estimated hours and material costs.
