Job summary

Toyota Deutschland GmbH in Georgetown, KY, seeks a Production Engineer for the Assembly Department to support technical operations and report to the Assembly Engineering Manager. You will work across teams to drive safety, quality, and efficiency in daily production and new model introductions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, hands-on experience in Final Assembly Shop Manufacturing, and familiarity with torque tightening tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar technical discipline.
• Experience in Final Assembly Shop Manufacturing.
• Experience working with torque tightening control tools.
• Experience leading and coordinating problem solving activities related to Safety, Quality, Productivity, and/or Cost.
• Experience with CAD software and reading 2D/3D drawings (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

• Solve safety, quality, productivity, and cost issues in daily production and new model introduction.
• Develop specifications and procure equipment, tools, and jigs to ensure quality and safety.
• Collaborate across departments to implement countermeasures for vehicle issues.
• Set up and kaizen vehicle processing with critical process controls and safety.
• Network with Production and Maintenance to identify and implement process improvements.
