Job summary

Textron is offering an Environmental Health & Safety internship to gain hands-on exposure across multiple manufacturing processes. You will learn to apply safety regulations in a real-world environment, working both independently and in teams to promote a safe and healthy culture.

Selected candidates will benefit from mentorship, training, and meaningful, real project work during a 10-week summer program, with onsite work requirements and a prepaid stipend.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist managers in writing and reviewing safety documents.
• Prepare safety presentations for employees.
• Conduct root-cause/corrective action exercises to eliminate hazards.
• Support safety programs such as Confined Space, Hazardous Materials, Fall Protection, and Lockout/Tagout.
