Job summary

Textron Aviation Inc. offers a summer internship in Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Interns will assist in safety documentation, presentations, and root-cause analyses while learning to promote an environmentally healthy and safe culture.

You’ll work with managers and teams to apply regulations, participate in safety programs, and rotate through on-site operations, preparing for a career in EH&S within the aviation industry.

JOB SUMMARY:

Interns will gain experience in the field of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), while being exposed to multiple forms of manufacturing of Textron Aviation Aircraft. Learn how to apply Environmental and Safety regulations in a real-world manufacturing environment. Interns will have the opportunity to experience day to day operations, working independently and in teams, to promote an Environmentally Healthy and Safe culture.

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F‑1 students and J‑1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late‑May to early‑August lasting 10 weeks.

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
