Job Overview:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Production Designer to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Creative team and cross-functional partners—including Brand, Product Development, and Regulatory—to update existing US packaging templates, develop new packaging for the EU market, and support broader print design needs.

From dielines to shelf strips, this is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on precision and organization and enjoys bringing design systems to life across both packaging and print collateral.

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid. 1-2 days a week in office)

Compensation: up to $65 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Update existing US packaging templates with new product details and specifications
• Develop new packaging templates for the EU market, including bilingual (English + French) designs
• Deliver accurate, print-ready mechanicals that meet production and vendor requirements
• Design print materials including visual merchandising assets (e.g., shelf strips, 5x7s) and campaign collateral (e.g., in-store signage, posters, event materials)
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure all packaging and print assets reflect correct product information
• Partner with the Regulatory team to ensure designs meet regional compliance requirements (US & EU)

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in production design or packaging design, ideally within beauty, consumer goods, or a similar industry
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of packaging production processes, including dieline creation, typography, layout, and hierarchy
• Experience preparing mechanicals for print and working with vendors or print producers
• Familiarity with packaging compliance and labeling standards for both US and EU markets
• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency—your files are always clean, organized, and print-ready
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills—you can confidently manage feedback across departments and keep projects moving forward
