Current Need:

  • Seeking a Production Designer Contractor to support creative services within the marketing function.
  • The work isn’t necessarily flashy, but it is important and must be completed with precision and attention to detail.
  • Existing templates are in place but need refinement and proper execution.
  • A key project may involve turning data from 120+ clients/prospects into a polished, ~40-page report.
  • It’s unclear if this project is a new initiative or a deliverable that previously fell short.
  • Must have strong PowerPoint and Canva skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Remote-friendly role; open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.
  • If local, occasional in-person collaboration is optional but not required.
  • Flexible working hours – the focus is on meeting deadlines and delivering quality work.
  • Must be available for assignments and occasional team meetings.
  • Start Date: Targeting early July.
  • Commitment:
  • First 2 months: ~30 hours/week
  • Next 2 months: ~10 hours/week
  • Potential to continue an as-needed basis.
  • Contract Type: Open-ended; will likely begin with a 60–90-day engagement with possible extension.

You will be instrumental in developing templates, formatting presentations, updating existing materials, and building simple branded video and animation content. Strong proficiency in PowerPoint—especially chart, graph, and data visualization creation—is essential. Key responsibilities include:

Template + Content Development

  • Build, refine, and document branded templates for PowerPoint, Word, and InDesign
  • Create modular, scalable slide layouts and toolkits for use across departments
  • Maintain and update existing collateral across print and digital channels
  • Design and format sophisticated PowerPoint decks for internal and external audiences
  • Build visually compelling charts, graphs, and data-driven graphics from raw Excel data
  • Ensure presentations align with Aldrich’s professional aesthetic and brand standards

Video + Animation Support

  • Create simple branded videos for use in social media, presentations, and internal messaging
  • Develop clean, animated elements (such as transitions, intros/outros, and motion graphics) using existing brand assets
  • Build templates for branded videos/animations in Canva

Production + Asset Management

  • Prepare print- and web-ready files with close attention to formatting and output
  • Organize and manage design files and visual assets, ensuring consistency and ease of use
  • Work in close partnership with the marketing team to prioritize deadlines and ensure quality

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of design experience in a freelance, agency, or in-house setting
  • Expert-level PowerPoint skills, including master templates, slide design, and chart/graph creation
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; Premiere or After Effects a plus)
  • Strong grasp of branded video development, animation principles, and file optimization
  • Ability to interpret data and translate it into clear, professional visuals
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and efficient time management
  • Experience following brand guidelines and applying them consistently across materials
  • Experience with professional services or B2B marketing environments
