Job summary

Lyft is seeking a data professional to frame business problems mathematically, analyze data, and guide product decisions through experimentation. You will partner with engineers, product managers, product designers, and business partners, and work with software engineers to put algorithms and analytics events into production.

Responsibilities include performing exploratory data analysis, collaborating on production analytics, designing experiments, and communicating insights to inform launch

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physics, Data Science, or a related field is required.
• Around 2 years of relevant experience in data science, operations research, or related role.
• Experience creating metrics, dashboards, and tools to track growth.

Responsibilities

• Frame problems mathematically and in business context.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to understand problems.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement algorithms and analytics events in production.
• Design and run simulated and live traffic experiments.
• Analyze data, communicate findings, and influence launch decisions.
