Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Production Control Clerk to compile and record production data, generate reports, and support production planning across its operations. The role involves data entry from orders, work tickets, and specifications, with duties extending to wage data and payroll-related tasks.

Candidates should have strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus a High School Diploma and at least one year in Production Control.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• One year of experience in Production Control.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain favorable NACI (T-1) Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and records production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets.
• Calculates factors such as items produced, materials used, scrap, defects, and production rates using computer, calculator, or spreadsheets.
• Writes production reports based on compiled data and maintains source documents for reference by production and management.
• Prepares written work schedules and material inventory records; assists in procurement of materials and supplies.
• Sorts and distributes work tickets; may compute wages from time cards and post wage data for payroll.
