Job summary

Reynolds Consumer Products is hiring a Production Crew Member for our Richmond, VA plant. You will operate bag lines, perform quality checks, and set up equipment. This role requires attention to safety, basic math, and teamwork to maintain smooth production flows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Safety: follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to read gauges/instruments and adjust.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bag machine, cartoner, case packing machine & palletizer and log machine activity.
• Inspect/perform tests for quality issues related to seal integrity, legible print, finished product dimensions, and other critical properties.
• Set-up bag making line and maintain log, determine operating conditions, make adjustments and correct malfunctions.
• Safely operate hand and fork truck when needed.
• Perform other crew member functions deemed necessary by management.
• Perform general housekeeping.
• Willingness to cross train to advance skills.

Responsibilities

Your Role

• Safely operate bag machine, cartoner, case packing machine & palletizer and log machine activity.
• Inspect/perform tests for quality issues related to seal integrity, legible print, finished product dimensions, and other critical properties.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Safety - Understand and carry out oral instructions; read and carry out written instructions.
• Ability to retain and act on oral instructions.
• Ability to observe and read instruments gauges, dials and make adjustments.
• Ability to estimate size and quantity of objects.
• Ability to constantly observe for quality defects as well as subtle problems with machine.
• Ability to make simple arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.

Icing On The Cake

• Experience with packaging lines, films, etc
• Previous manufacturing experience.
