Location: New York, NY

Salary: $100,000+

An established apparel company in New York City is looking for a skilled Production and Costing specialist to join the team. Experience working with Walmart and Clubs is a plus. If you’re passionate about apparel production and have strong costing skills we want to hear from you!

Negotiate minimums, course pricing, and surcharges for all raw materials, trims, and finished garments with vendors to achieve or surpass profit margins.

Collaborate with the design and technical teams to review Product Development packages and suggest cost-effective alternatives while ensuring design integrity is maintained.

Facilitate communication regarding all processes for private label orders for Walmart, Sam’s Club, and off-price accounts.

Oversee and address all aspects related to costing, quality, and production.

Manage vendors, and suppliers.

Input detailed costing requests into various Excel spreadsheets.

Skills

• Able to handle heavy data entry into various excel spreadsheets throughout the day.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must.
• Must be organized and have the ability and drive to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
