Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment in Nashville is seeking a Production Coordinator to ensure the success and reconciliation of show and event productions by coordinating the technical, personnel and financial aspects of the Production department while supporting and collaborating with the Production Manager and the rest of the Production department with thorough and detailed preparation.

You will work in tandem with venue, touring, and client production teams to create smooth processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in entertainment venues or tour productions.
  • Understanding of stage lighting, pro audio, and video systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and note-taking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interdepartmental communication.
  • Create and maintain manuals and training materials for all production positions.
  • Assist and support production department personnel.
  • Maintain inventory and maintenance logs.
  • Schedule staff, rentals, and hospitality within budgetary guidelines.
  • Advance technical and hospitality details for shows and events.
  • Attend production and venue staff meetings.

THE JOB

The Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the success and reconciliation of show and event productions by coordinating the technical, personnel and financial aspects of the Production department while supporting & collaborating with the Production Managerandthe rest of the Production departmentwith thorough & detailed preparation.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Work in tandem with the Production Manager, venue, touring,andclient production teams.

  • Helps the Production Manager with settlement, payroll, scheduling, andadministrative tasks to make for a seamless and effective department

  • Coordinatesinterdepartmental communication

  • Workswith the Production Manager to create and maintaindepartment manuals and training materials for all production positions

  • Assist and support production department personnel

  • Create andmaintainaninventory and maintenance log

  • Work with the Production Managertoschedulestaff, rentals, and hospitalitywithin show and eventbudgetary guidelines.

  • Advancetechnical andhospitality details for showsand events alongwith the Production Manager

  • Attends production andvenue staffmeetingsas outlined by the GMand PM

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • Calm and levelheaded in fast paced environments

  • Prior production experiencespecific to entertainment venues, theaters, or touringscenarios

  • General understanding of stage lighting, pro audio systems and video systems

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to make clear concise decisions, sometimes with limited information

  • Strong computing and accounting skills (Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, BOX,Sharepoint, Zoom, Asana,Airtable, Slack,Etc)

  • Must possessstrong communication and note taking skills

Physical Demands/Working Environment:
  • Must be able tolift upto 75lbs

  • Able to work in moderate to loud level or noise in work environment
