Job summary

We’re looking for a Production Coordinator to run our shop floor. This is a hands‑on leadership role. You’ll coordinate daily production across fabrication and installation crews, manage long term scheduling and priorities, and make sure every job moves through the shop on time and to spec.

You report directly to the owner. You are the single point of accountability for production output.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sign manufacturing or related trade.
• Experience coordinating crews or leading a production floor.
• Hands-on skills in metal fabrication, vinyl/print production, channel letters, or sign installation.
• Ability to read shop drawings and infer project scope.
• Organized and able to juggle multiple jobs across stages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers on job handoffs, timelines, and material readiness.
• Track on-time completion and rework/callback rates.

About Us

We are an established signage manufacturing and installation company serving the San Francisco Bay Area. We design, fabricate, and install custom signage for commercial clients ranging from small retail to large-scale corporate and institutional projects. Our shop handles everything from vinyl graphics and channel letters to architectural signage and monument signs.

Who You Are

• Can read shop drawings and understand project scope from a set of plans
• Organized, you can juggle multiple jobs at different stages without losing track
• Clear communicator who keeps things moving, not someone who waits to be told
• Experience in computer and design software

Compensation & Schedule

• Competitive pay based on experience (hourly, depending on background)
• Full‑time, Monday through Friday
• Core hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Shop is located in San Francisco
