Job summary
Mars Incorporated in Pitman, IL seeks a Production Coordinator to translate the daily production plan into action across shifts. You will train and mentor associates, support the Production Leader, and drive KPI improvements while ensuring safe, efficient operations.
You will operate and coach teams on equipment, manage cycle counts, and contribute to continuous improvement with data analysis and effective communication. The role includes a competitive salary and bonus opportunities.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in a technical field and 2 years' experience in manufacturing or 5+ years with progressive responsibility
- Certified Trainer
- Experience operating powered industrial vehicles in a warehouse and training others
- Strong communication and MS Office proficiency
- Experience leading change and using data to drive improvements
Responsibilities
- Create daily and weekly production plans with the Production Leader
- Build associate capability and mentor teams
- Relieve the Production Leader when needed
- Drive loss elimination through observation and data analysis
- Suggest KPI improvements across productivity, quality and safety
- Mentor associates on self-development and business objectives
- Maintain SOPs and operate within established procedures
