SUPPLY CHAIN

Our Supply Chain team manages the flow of materials, products, and components crucial to our and our customers’ missions. They prepare assembly kits for technicians, oversee inventory, shipping, procurement, and ensure compliance and quality of all materials. They are vital to our success, linking various teams together.

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR II - 2nd Shift

Based at Rocket Lab’s headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Senior Production Coordinator tracks open work orders, expedites deliveries, resolves blockers, and supports production planning to ensure timely fabrication and assembly of rocket components.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Fulfill production work orders using MRP systems.
• Release kit requests to Inventory.
• Support prioritization and expediting of subassemblies.
• Resolve production blockers, including part shortages and yield issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain, or an Associate's degree with 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with MRP systems.
• Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Willingness to work 2nd shift (1:30 pm - 10:00 pm).
• Ability to travel and work extended hours/weekends.
• Good vision and physical ability to perform job duties.
