HelloFresh in Abbotsford, BC is seeking a Production Coordinator to support and develop production projects aimed at increasing efficiency and process improvement. You will back Production Supervisors and work closely with the Operations Manager in a fast-paced distribution facility.

The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and process-driven, with 0–2 years of experience coordinating production in a fulfillment/distribution center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related management work experience.
• 0-2 years of experience coordinating production in a fulfillment/distribution center; preferably within Food & Beverage industry.
• Quantitative and analytical experience – must have proficiency using MS Excel and G-Suite Apps.

• Time Management: Understand process flow and prioritize accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly production documents for receiving, staging, production, and shipping.
• Review customer error calls relevant to production to measure & track quality, accuracy, and pick metrics along with identifying error trends to improve defined metrics.
• Run weekly printing operations for logistics, product and marketing materials.
• Manage weekly maintenance of printers, keep track of printing materials, and weekly purchases.
• Conduct daily 5S, process, and facility readiness checks.
• Coordinate with ops team, suppliers and contractors to implement corrective & preventive action plan.
• Assist Production Manager and Production Supervisor on day-to-day tasks as required.
• Work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations.
• Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer.
• Other duties as assigned
