Job summary

Electrolux Home Products, Inc. in Springfield, TN seeks an Assembly/Production Operator to join the day shift. You will operate heavy equipment, monitor processes for quality and efficiency, and assist in maintaining production standards.

The role requires clear English communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position includes shift-based hours beginning early in the morning with responsibilities across the Assembly department to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ manufacturing experience preferred.
• Clear English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment and monitors processes to ensure wear and fabrication standards are met.
• Delivers on production targets for volume, cost, waste and quality; follows equipment maintenance protocols.
• Reports shift activities, issues and resolutions; tracks concerns as they arise.
• Supports Assembly to produce high-quality products on time and to customer expectations.
• Backfills absenteeism when needed.
• Identifies material shortages for changes and communicates with relevant personnel.
• Oversees production line flow and adherence to safety rules and housekeeping standards.
• Follows established procedures and schedules to manufacture products.

You will be based in our Springfield, TN location. This shift will start on Friday, Saturday and Sunday beginning at 5:00 am and end 5:30 pm each day depending on production needs.

Your main tasks

• Operates a variety of heavy equipment and monitors processes to assure proper application of fabrication standards. Functions as a team member and contributes as much as possible to team projects.
• Delivers on agreed volume, cost, waste and quality standards. Maintain equipment by following protocols and guidelines.
• Reports on shift activities, issues and resolution, emerging issues and concerns.
• Provide support throughout the Assembly department in producing the highest quality products, on time, that meet or exceed customer expectation
• Backfills absenteeism
• Determine changeover material shortages and communicate with appropriate personnel.
• Oversee production line.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and standards and maintain good housekeeping.
• Follows established procedures and guidelines to manufacture the organization's products according to production specifications and schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent
• 2 +Manufacturing experience
• Communicate clearly and concisely in English verbally and in writing.

Physical Demands

• Able to lift to 35 lbs-70lbs.
• Able to Walk and/or stand for long periods of time
• Able to bend at waist
• Able reach above the shoulder level.
