Job summary

Qualifications

  • Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of experience in print production or related fields (advertising, project management, or design).
  • Comfort using AI tools and willingness to adopt AI features in software.
  • Able to manage a fast-paced production schedule and shifting priorities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft systems and software.
  • Willingness to learn new software.
  • Must be 21+ with a valid U.S. driver's license and 3+ years driving experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and archive production projects (literature, ads, merchandise, and demonstration materials).
  • Maintain project tracking in Asana.
  • Serve as liaison between requestors, designers, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate communications.
  • Obtain bids and issue print/purchase orders for projects.
  • Perform quality control by reviewing proofs and final materials for accuracy and consistency.
  • Source vendors and materials for print and demonstration projects.
  • Provide clerical support, including processing invoices and coordinating shipments.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Managing Director or department leadership.

Description

The Production department is the PETA Foundation's creative hub for all print materials, from vegan starter kits and educational leaflets to eye-catching billboards, costumes, and props for our iconic street-theater demonstrations. Our team of project managers, coordinators, assistants, and in-house designers collaborate closely with one another and with external agencies and creatives to bring powerful, mission-driven visuals to life. Together, we produce a wide range of compelling assets that support PETA's outreach, advocacy, and campaign initiatives across multiple platforms.

Position Objectives
  • To support the Production department in the coordination and execution of printed literature, merchandise, advertisements, and creative assets that advance PETA's outreach and advocacy efforts
  • Ensure the smooth delivery of high-impact visual materials that reflect the organization’s mission
Primary Responsibilities And Duties
  • Schedule, route, organize, and archive assigned production projects, including but not limited to literature, advertisements, merchandise, and demonstration materials
  • Maintain and update project tracking in Asana
  • Serve as a liaison between requestors, designers, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate project-related communications
  • Obtain bids and process print/purchase orders for assigned projects
  • Perform quality control by reviewing proofs and final printed materials for accuracy and consistency
  • Conduct research to source vendors and materials for print and demonstration projects
  • Provide clerical support, including managing digital records, processing invoices, and coordinating shipments
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Managing Director or department leadership
Requirements
  • Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Two years of experience in print production (e.g., offset, web, or quick-copy shop), advertising, project management, or design preferred
  • Comfort using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and AI-powered features in creative and productivity software preferred, with a willingness to adopt emerging AI capabilities
  • Must be comfortable working under a fast-paced production schedule and able to organize shifting priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple duties and requests, effectively multitasking to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective research skills and ability to evaluate vendor options
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft systems and software
  • Proficiency with internet research, as well as a willingness to learn new software
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid U.S. driver's license, a minimum of three years of driving experience, and a satisfactory driving record
  • Commitment to the objectives of the organization

The hourly pay range for this position is $19.40 - $23.83. The ultimate hourly pay within this range that will be offered to a qualified candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s experience.
