Job summary

NuAire, Inc. is seeking a Production Coordinator in Plymouth, MN to ensure materials, components, and order information are complete and available at the point of use. Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Salary range: $23.00 to $24.50 per hour. Starting wage will be dependent on experience level.

The Production Coordinator supports safe, high-quality, and on-time production by ensuring that materials, components, and order information are complete, accurate, identified, and available at the point of use. The coordinator stages customer orders according to production sequence, responds quickly to shortages or discrepancies, and works across manufacturing, materials, purchasing, quality, and planning to protect schedule commitments. Success in this role requires strong communication, attention to detail, urgency, ownership, and the ability to work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Confirm that parts, materials, documentation, and other requirements needed to build each customer order are available and delivered to the point of use on time.
  • Verify order identification and perform complete part-counts.
  • Partner with fabrication, materials, Kanban, purchasing, planning, engineering, and quality to recover shortages and resolve order constraints with an appropriate sense of urgency.
  • Research and troubleshoot order errors and elevate risks early.
  • Accurately use NuAire's ERP systems and use 5S and visual controls.
  • Perform assembly or other assigned work when needed and participate in daily production or prediction meetings as assigned.
  • Identify and implement practical improvements that strengthen material flow and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Cost: Minimize through accurate staging and disciplined material control.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical education or relevant manufacturing coursework preferred.
  • One to two years of related manufacturing, production coordination, material handling, inventory, or scheduling experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience using an ERP or manufacturing system is preferred.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and accurately use ERP, inventory, scheduling, and production applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret bills of materials, production orders, drawings, basic blueprints, labels, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with associates, leaders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to apply practical judgment, investigate routine problems, identify root causes or needed support, and elevate issues appropriately.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages, and simple production measures.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting team goals and customer commitments.
