Position Overview

Ceres is looking for a Production Coordinator responsible for performing functions related to inventory control, production, purchase order administration, expense/invoice reconciliation, parts quality inspection, discrepancy resolution, and service call administration.

Primary Job Duties

• Open, update, and close production orders. Review and analyze parts availability for fabrication and order parts as needed. Create production travelers and progress them through the process.
• Understand and manage inventory control system functions and parameters, including training, troubleshooting, creating guidelines, identifying needs, and recommending system updates.
• Investigate all back orders with vendors as needed.
• Review and analyze various inventory reports, including stock order, non-stock/made stock, replaced parts, shipping/return exceptions, unadjusted demand, and daily returns reports. Distribute reports to appropriate personnel. Compare inventories to system records and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze existing procedures and develop new processes to ensure efficient execution of duties.
• Act as the point of contact for inventory-related questions, researching and resolving problems, errors, and discrepancies.
