The Episodic Production Coordinator functions as an extension of a lead producer and serves as the main point of contact while working with internal and external teams to organize, supervise, and monitor the progress of projects. They possess a sense of urgency, thrive in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment, and consistently deliver accurate, high‑quality work on schedule. The role requires a highly professional demeanor and diplomacy when dealing with clients, production management, coworkers, and artists. The coordinator reports to the Head of Production, providing support and executing task‑based work for the episodic finishing production team.
The Production Coordinator will work closely with the Lead Producer to manage and drive online, color, and delivery schedules, act as a primary point of contact, and maintain effective communication with internal teams and clients regarding job status. Responsibilities include coordinating project needs, keeping production teams updated, generating status reports, supporting assistants, interfacing with clients, creating and billing work orders, ensuring resources are available, troubleshooting session issues, and scheduling across sister facilities.
