Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end production for RTW and denim with an import focus.
• Partner with overseas factories to manage timelines, production status, and delivery.
• Maintain Time & Action calendars to ensure milestones are met.
• Issue and manage purchase orders with accurate costs, quantities, and delivery dates.
• Monitor bulk fabric, trims, lab dips, and TOP approvals to keep approvals on track.
• Communicate daily with Design, Tech, and Product Development teams.

Our client, a premium Los Angeles-based denim and ready-to-wear brand , is seeking a Production Coordinator to support their growing team. This role will focus heavily on import production, working closely with full-package vendors across RTW and denim categories.

This is a highly detail-oriented, fast-paced role ideal for someone who thrives in managing timelines, communicating cross-functionally, and ensuring product moves seamlessly from development through bulk production and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Support the end-to-end production process across RTW and denim, with a focus on import and full-package vendors
• Partner closely with overseas factories to manage timelines, production status, and delivery expectations
• Track and maintain Time & Action calendars to ensure all production milestones are met
• Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in cost, quantity, and delivery dates
• Monitor bulk fabric, trims, lab dips, and TOP approvals, ensuring all approvals are on track
• Communicate daily with cross-functional teams including Design, Tech, and Product Development
• Track production progress and proactively identify and resolve potential delays or issues
• Maintain WIP reports and provide regular updates to internal teams
• Support shipping coordination and partner with logistics to ensure on-time deliveries
• Ensure all production aligns with quality standards and brand expectations

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in apparel production, preferably with import and full-package vendors
• Experience working across denim and/or RTW categories strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of the production lifecycle from development through delivery
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple styles at once
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proactive problem solver with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience with PLM systems a plus
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with overseas vendors and internal teams
