Job summary

CUMULUS MEDIA in Dallas is seeking a Production Assistant with a proven background in audio production, strong writing chops, and a love for all things audio. The role focuses on creating quality broadcast commercials and supporting station programming.

You will work with program directors, air talent, and sales to deliver timely spots, manage copy and scripts in the VCreative system, and ensure all regulatory standards are met while maintaining meticulous production files.

Qualifications

• Understanding of high quality recording and production.
• Ability to work with creative individuals as part of a team.
• Strong production skills and knowledge of OpX.
• Strong knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations.
• VCreative software experience a plus.
• Flawless eye for detail.
• Strong creative and organization skills.
• Team Player attitude and ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain production files, write copy, and produce quality commercials for broadcast on the Station.
• Work with Station program directors, air talent, and sales representatives to produce quality commercials in a timely manner
• Assist Station program directors with imaging and on-air promotional elements; ensuring that all barter commercials and company-contracted deals are broadcast as ordered and resolving all log discrepancies
• Track commercial scripts and ensure all copy/creative is received and accurately inputted into the VCreative Production order system in a timely fashion
• Coordinating copy with the Sales Staff and customers.
• Coordinating the production of commercials and the entering of commercials into the station's hard drives
• Coordinating and executing the entering of syndicated radio programs and network commercials

Pay Range

USD $38,000.00 - USD $45,000.00 /Yr.
