Job summary

Cumulus Media in Dallas is seeking a Production Coordinator with a proven background in audio production and strong writing skills. You will manage production files, write copy, and produce high-quality commercials for broadcast, coordinating with program directors, air talent, and sales to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires familiarity with FCC rules, a passion for radio production, and experience with VCreative workflows.

Qualifications

• Understanding of high quality recording and production.
• Ability to work with creative individuals as part of a team.
• Strong production skills and knowledge of OpX.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain production files, write copy, and produce quality commercials for broadcast on the Station.
• Work with Station program directors, air talent, and sales representatives to produce quality commercials in a timely manner.
• Assist Station program directors with imaging and on-air promotional elements; ensuring that all barter commercials and company-contracted deals are broadcast as ordered and resolving all log discrepancies.
• Track commercial scripts and ensure all copy/creative is received and accurately inputted into the VCreative Production order system in a timely fashion.
• Coordinating copy with the Sales Staff and customers.
• Coordinating the production of commercials and the entering of commercials into the station's hard drives
• Coordinating and executing the entering of syndicated radio programs and network commercials
