Closed Loop Recycling (CLR) in Charlotte, NC is seeking a hard-working Production Coordinator to join our production team. This role oversees the production floor, coordinates the team, and ensures on-time processing of absorbent mats and drums, with a focus on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has a truck certification, mechanical aptitude, and production/warehouse experience. This is a physically demanding outdoor role with daily lifting and equipment maintenance responsibilities,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $30.00 To $33.00 Hourly

Closed Loop Recycling (CLR) is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated, mechanically inclined Production Coordinator to join our production team in Charlotte, NC! We provide a full service to manufacturers in which we provide them with reusable oil absorbent mats/material/PPE that soaks up leaks and spills in their facilities. We extract the oily fluid from the material, launder the material, and clean out 55-gallon collection drums for reuse. Our process is taking three waste streams and turning them into three reusable products.

This role includes overseeing all production needs which consist of managing the production team, clearing the floor of all dirty drums by yourself or with a small team, and managing data entry into our CRM system. This is a dirty job (dealing with oil). This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves lifting, and moving heavy objects, and requires communicating with our logistics department. You must be truck certified, as running routes in our 26ft box trucks is part of this role.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

Trains and works at different workstations as production needs require throughout the day/week

• Overseeing production team
• Operating machines to clean absorbent mats and washing/sorting drums
• Overseeing the waterwash system, including daily operation, monitoring, and upkeep
• Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs on plant equipment to minimize downtime
• Folding, sorting, cutting absorbent mats and other products
• Assist in loading and unloading service trucks
• Keeping the facility up to OSHA safety standards and audit-ready
• Making sure the quality of the product is 100% client-ready
• Stocking inventory shelves and inventory tracking in our CRM
• Due to size & volume, there is potential to be needed to run a routes in our 26ft box trucks

Skills and Experience:

• High School or Bachelor's Degree
• Truck certified (required)
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience repairing and maintaining equipment
• Production/Warehouse experience (required)
• Ability to use a pallet jack
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 150 lbs when driving and loading/unloading drums)
• Mechanic/carpentry/welding experience (preferred)
• Ability to learn and operate warehouse equipment
