Closed Loop Recycling in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Route Driver/Warehouse Associate. This is a physical, outdoor role requiring driving, lifting, and teamwork to support production and service delivery.

Two pay bands exist: warehouse work $18–$20/hr and truck driving $20–$23/hr. Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k). CDL training and safety tests are part of the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class B preferred; DOT Medical Card required.
• Ability to lift 200+ lbs with assistance and operate pallet jack.
• Must have clean driving and criminal records; able to pass tests.
• Willing to train for truck driving and travel as needed.
• Experience in plant/warehouse operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive routes and service clients as needed; maintain safe driving records.
• Unload/load materials; operate pallet jack and warehouse equipment.
• Sort, clean, and package absorbent mats and related products.
• Assist with inventory, stocking shelves, and daily production tasks.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and quality controls for client-ready product.
• Coordinate with logistics to time deliveries and pickups.

Route Driver/Warehouse Associate

Salary Range: $18.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Closed Loop Recycling (CLR) is seeking a hard-working, self-motivated Route Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our production team in Indianapolis, IN.

CLR is one of the fastest-growing recycling companies. We provide a full service to manufacturers in which we provide them with reusable oil-absorbent material that soaks up leaks and spills in their facilities. Our plants' role is extracting the oily fluid from the material for reuse, laundering the material for reuse, cleaning out 55-gallon collection drums for reuse, and repackaging cleaned material. You'll be working with a small team but have room for advancement in your career here.

This position will require truck training to service clients when needed. Our CSRs remove 55-gallon collection drums filled with saturated oil absorbent mats, PPE, and other items and replace them with new materials. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves driving over the road, lifting, and moving heavy objects frequently, and communicating with our logistics department.

For this position, we offer two distinct pay rates depending on the role being performed. For work in the warehouse, the pay rate is approximately $18 to 20. For truck driving, the pay rate ranges from $20 to $23 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience.

Driver Responsibilities:

• Class B CDL- (preferred, not required)
• DOT Medical Card
• Ability to travel as needed (over the road)
• Ability to move heavy objects (200+ lbs with assistance of a dolly or pallet jack)
• Must have a clean driving/criminal record
• Must pass our pre-employment physical strength test,
• Must pass our pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Plant Responsibilities:

• Cleaning absorbent mats
• Washing & sorting drums
• Folding, sorting, cutting absorbent mats and other products
• Stocking inventory shelves and inventory tracking
• Loading and unloading service trucks
• Trains and works at different workstations as production needs require
• Keeping the facility up to OSHA safety standards and audit-ready
• Making sure the quality of the product is 100% client-ready
