Job summary

Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking a Production Controller to manage advanced information system operation control work, scheduling, and master schedule modifications. You will monitor batch jobs, coordinate priorities, and ensure on-time outputs.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school.
• Requires three (3) years of previous related experience such as is typically gained at the Data Processing Technician level.
• Requires two (2) years of college including coursework in the data processing field.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the processing of computer jobs to guarantee execution and output according to schedule.
• Verifies batch processing completion and analyzes abends to determine corrective action.
• Provides technical guidance to co-workers in resolving problematic situations.
