Job summary

Strong attention to inventory records and cross‑department coordination is required. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) with additional education/experience, and experience in dispatching materials and providing customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of education/experience.
• Experience dispatching material and/or parts.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintains material schedules and availability for production.
• Records material quantities and status (received, shipped, in stock, in production).
• Expedites material flow between departments to meet schedules.
• Identifies shortages and initiates corrective actions.
• Uses knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering to flag issues and propose solutions.
• Estimates and logs production rate and lead times to meet shipping dates.
