Job summary

KBR is seeking a Production Control Clerk (Contingency) for TACOM (ANAD) stationed in Alabama. The role supports maintenance and production-control operations, tracking workload, material requirements, and schedules to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include cost estimation, scheduling, budgeting oversight, and coordination with various depot teams. The position requires strong Excel skills, DoD-related experience preferred, and U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Typically 2-4 years of experience in production control, maintenance administration, logistics, or a related field.
• Experience with maintenance management systems, databases, or automated tracking tools.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical instructions, manuals, and regulatory guidance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with maintenance personnel and supervisors.
• Ability to perform work in physically demanding environments.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required).
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for depot customers.
• Coordinate with pre-production and pre-planning meetings.
• Develop and update production schedules.
• Monitor program funding and report discrepancies.
• Create and modify production routes and bills of materials with guidance from senior staff.
• Notify depot organizations when program orders are ready.
• Reconcile data and ensure labor charges are correct.
• Assist with man-hour and material estimates by operation.
• Study shop layouts and tool/equipment availability.
• Attend production meetings and report issues to senior staff.
• Support planning activities with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in determining if production meets schedule and quality requirements.
