Ability to troubleshoot and resolve job issues effectively.
Responsibilities
Provide 24x7 support and monitoring for batch and MFT jobs.
Develop, test, and maintain MFT jobs and production batch jobs.
Provide monitoring capabilities of the processes running within each tool and perform active monitoring and failure response for critical job streams.
Develop, test, deploy and maintain MFT jobs.
Execute production batch jobs on required systems per Client approved schedules (scheduling, execution, reruns, cancellations, and reporting).
Monitor progress of batch job processing, confirm job completion and identify, resolve and or escalate incomplete jobs, through Client-provided batch scheduling tool and Client application teams. This may involve working with Client (external) business partners.
Work with the appropriate Client teams (including teams who wrote batch jobs) to troubleshoot and resolve batch job issues.
Perform job control for batch and MFT jobs including hold, skip, suspend, execute, and release jobs as needed.
Maintain job completion records and provide exception reporting for batch and MFT jobs.
Recommend improvements for production control and job scheduling.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Production Control provides 24x7 support and monitoring for batch and MFT jobs.
Provide, administrate, and maintain the tools that perform these services, and assist in the creation, modification, and production deployment of the processes within each tool.
Provide monitoring capabilities of the processes running within each tool and perform active monitoring and failure response for critical job streams.
Develop, test, deploy and maintain MFT jobs.
Execute production batch jobs on required systems per Client approved schedules (scheduling, execution, reruns, cancellations, and reporting).
