Job summary

A leading copper supplier in Cedar Rapids seeks a Production Control Planner to develop and execute production-planning schedules. The successful candidate will have a two-year degree in Supply Chain or related field and should have experience in a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include determining production requirements and monitoring order releases. The salary range is $47,520 - $71,280, with benefits including a 401(k) plan, vacations, and insurance coverage.

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in a production environment with basic inventory and manufacturing concepts.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • CPIM Certification desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute production-planning schedules.
  • Determine plant production requirements based on various factors.
  • Attend planning meetings with the production team.
  • Monitor order releases and work center inventory levels daily.
