Job summary

Snelling Staffing Lexington is seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator for a temporary 3‑Month assignment. The role will issue daily production work orders, monitor schedules, track progress, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure orders are completed on time.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in production control or scheduling, with ERP/MRP and Excel proficiency, and a background in manufacturing.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
3–5 years of experience in production control, scheduling, or manufacturing.
Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Issue and manage daily production work instructions.
Monitor production schedules and track progress.
Identify production delays and communicate issues promptly.
Coordinate with production, planning, logistics, and other departments to resolve scheduling concerns.
Maintain accurate production records and close completed work orders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and help ensure on-time customer delivery.
