Phoenix Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Production Control and Purchasing Assistant to provide administrative and operational support across both departments.

You will create, issue, and maintain work orders and purchase orders in the ERP system, monitor material status, and communicate shortages or delays to the team. This role requires attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to shift priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Experience handling work orders and purchase orders in ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with purchasing, inventory coordination, or production control in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with aerospace, machining, or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, issue, revise, and maintain work orders and purchase orders in ERP.
• Prepare requests for quotation and communicate with suppliers.
• Monitor open orders and follow up on acknowledgements and delivery status.
• Maintain purchasing records and supplier communications.
• Assist with production scheduling and status reporting.
• Collaborate with departments on production control and purchasing needs.
