Job summary

Rochester Sensors is seeking a Production Control Planning Analyst to join our Coppell, TX team. You will manage end-to-end supply chain communications, coordinate ERP-related issues, and develop master production schedules to meet customer delivery dates.

You will collaborate across departments, facilitate meetings, and drive improvements to on-time delivery while maintaining accurate schedules and kanban quantities in our ERP system.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in Operations Management, Production Planning/Scheduling and ERP software preferred.
• Advanced skills using MS Excel, Word, Visio & PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX, 365 or equivalent ERP solution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end communication of the supply chain including demand requirements and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate material and ERP issues to meet customer delivery dates and maintain schedules.
• Plan and prepare production schedules to meet shipping dates according to forecasts or orders.
• Lead meetings to discuss issues impacting manufacturing and document actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to determine project status and expedite as needed.
• Develop and implement programs to improve on-time delivery and write procedures.

PRODUCTION CONTROL PLANNING ANALYST

OVERVIEW

Perform diversified engineering and technical duties to assist department supervisor in carrying out assigned departmental responsibilities. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for end-to-end communication of the supply chain, including interpretation of demand requirements, planning the supply chain and communicating completion schedules.
• Coordinates all material and ERP system issues to ensure successful completion of customer requirements per requested delivery dates; Maintains accurate schedules, kanban quantities and material availability per ERP system.
• Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products: Develops master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
• Ability to hold meetings to discuss issues that may impact Manufacturing. Follow up with Meeting Minutes and actions.
• Confers with other departments to determine status of assigned projects.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Develops programs and goals for improving on-time delivery.
• Develops written procedures.
• Able to develop and execute Project Schedules
• Serves on related committees and participates in meetings as required.
• Actively supports the defined goals and objectives of the company.
• Projects a professional, total-quality image in all aspects of this position.
• Performs other duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictates.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years’ experience Operations Management, Production Planning/Scheduling, and ERP software preferred
• Must have advanced skills using MS Excel, Word, Visio & PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX, 365 or equivalent ERP solution preferred
• Capable of handling multiple assignments to completion with minimum supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written business communication skills.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position does not currently require travel. However, occasional travel may be required in the future based on business needs
