Job Purpose

Assist with the administration of complex projects, monitor and schedule the flow of materials, components, assemblies, and inventory. Perform detailed inventory analyses and address problems to maintain high system data accuracy, minimize excess inventory, and keep manufacturing plans on schedule.

Job Description

  1. Enter and release milestone sales and service orders as directed by the Project Manager for complex/large projects.
  2. Determine the sources of components (make or buy) according to current sourcing strategy and update the system accordingly.
  3. Maintain and update the manufacturing execution plan for assigned projects and report manufacturing status to the Project Team.
  4. Coordinate with Engineering Class 1 & 2 ECNs affecting inventory and schedules; may handle multiple project plans simultaneously.
  5. Monitor inventory flow throughout projects.
  6. Assist manufacturing areas in prioritization efforts.
  7. Analyze supply and demand of inventory and long-lead parts; take corrective actions to address schedule impacts or excess inventory.
  8. Analyze and correct excess supply orders in the ERP system.
