Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is seeking an Associate Production Control Planner in Syracuse, NY to support manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient material flow, accurate WIP tracking, and timely progression of Manufacturing Orders (MOs).

You will monitor MO status, coordinate with Production Control, resolve shortages, and report deviations from the Master Production Schedule. Collaborative work with operations and MRB processes will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of inventory management, bills of material, and MRP systems.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material movement from release to final completion to ensure smooth WIP flow.
• Track daily WIP status to identify bottlenecks, delays, or shortages impacting MO progression.
• Monitor MO completion rates and intervene when orders risk missing planned finish dates.
• Support MPS requirements by reporting deviations, delays, or rescheduling needs.
• Collaborate with Production Control Planners to resolve shortages and coordinate corrective actions.
• Communicate with Operations to ensure priorities, WIP constraints, and status changes are understood.
• Assist with root-cause analysis for flow disruptions and drive corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to WIP flow and MO execution accuracy.
• Process material transactions to support MRB activities.
