Job summary

Slate is seeking a Production Control Team Member to support the flow of materials and information at our USA vehicle assembly site. You will handle inventory accuracy, line-side replenishment, cycle counting, and the safe operation of powered industrial vehicles to sustain production.

The role requires attention to detail, safety, and a willingness to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with potential for shift rotations and overtime during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production.
• Current PIV/forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with cycle counts and using WMS/ERP inventory systems.
• Experience supporting receiving and/or shipping operations in manufacturing or distribution.

Responsibilities

• Execute milk runs to deliver parts to line-side stations using tugger trains and carts.
• Replenish kanban bins and line-side locations to maintain continuous flow.
• Perform cycle counts and report discrepancies for investigation.
• Operate forklifts and tugger tow tractors in compliance with OSHA and plant policies.
• Receive and inspect inbound shipments and verify against PO and ASNs.
• Assist outbound shipping activities including staging, packing, labeling, and loading.
